Adam Wolfberg serves as Chief Investment Officer and Co-Founder of the Hurricane Group, where he leads investment strategy and portfolio management for the Hurricane Hunter Fund, with a primary focus on global Technology, Media, Telecommunications, and Consumer sectors.
Adam brings over 26 years of portfolio management experience, widely recognized across the hedge fund community for his disciplined risk framework, deep industry expertise, and consistent performance track record.
Before co-founding Hurricane Capital, Adam spent 7.5 years as Managing Member and Portfolio Manager at Eastbay Capital, where he led a two-fund investment platform and managed a seasoned, high-performing analyst team. Prior to Eastbay, he served as Head of TMT at Diamondback Capital, where he built and scaled the firm’s TMT practice.
Adam’s earlier experience includes serving as a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager at XI Asset Management, a long/short global TMT-focused fund, as well as portfolio management roles at Galleon Asset Management (Explorers Fund) and SAC Capital Advisors. Throughout his career, he has been regarded as one of the leading TMT investors within the hedge fund industry.
Adam holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an MBA in Finance and Statistics from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
