Randy Cieslak is the Director of Compliance at Hurricane Advisor Solutions, where he leads the development and oversight of the firm’s compliance program, integrating governance, supervisory controls, and regulatory frameworks across the advisory platform.

Randy’s career has consistently bridged technology, operational oversight, and compliance. His background in building secure, auditable, and regulation-aligned systems enables him to enhance compliance infrastructure, strengthen supervisory processes, and ensure data integrity across the organization.

Prior to joining Hurricane Advisor Solutions, Randy served as Managing Director of Technology at Weitz & Luxenberg, where he worked on building systems to support the mass tort business, promoting stability, efficiency, reporting accuracy and controls.

As Director at Luminus Management and Chief Technology Officer at Owl Creek Asset Management, Diamondback Advisors, and The Rohatyn Group, as head of the technology group, he was responsible for all technology activities at the firms, working closely with compliance, operations, accounting, trading, and risk teams within a regulated environment, helping maintain transparency and adherence to industry requirements.

His work at Merrill Lynch further exposed him to enterprise-level governance and supervisory structures central to financial-services compliance.

Randy has a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley.
